Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using AItlas ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

AItlas is operated by Polsia ("we", "us", "our"). These Terms apply to all visitors, registered users, and paying subscribers.

2. Service Description

AItlas is an AI tool directory and recommendation platform. The Service provides:

• A searchable, filterable directory of AI tools with honest reviews and ease-of-use scores
• Automated discovery of new AI tools from Product Hunt, GitHub, Hacker News, and other sources
• A weekly newsletter (the "AI Tool Digest") delivered by email
• Competitor intelligence and market trend analysis
• Premium features for paying subscribers (as described at the time of subscription)

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time with reasonable notice.

3. Subscription and Billing

Free trial: New subscribers receive a 7-day free trial. You will not be charged during the trial period. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription begins and you will be billed $49 for the first month.

Auto-renewal: Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period. Your payment method will be charged monthly until you cancel.

Cancellation: You may cancel at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No partial-month refunds are provided.

Refunds: We offer refunds on a case-by-case basis for genuine billing errors. Contact aitlas@polsia.app within 14 days of a charge you believe is incorrect.

Payment processing is handled by Stripe. By subscribing, you also agree to Stripe's terms of service.

4. Free Tier and Newsletter

Basic access to the AItlas directory is free. You can browse tools, search the directory, and subscribe to the weekly newsletter without a paid account.

By subscribing to the newsletter, you consent to receive weekly emails from AItlas. You may unsubscribe at any time via the link in any email.

5. User Responsibilities

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation
• Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract data from the Service without written permission
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure
• Submit false, misleading, or abusive content, including via any feedback or contact forms
• Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit any content from the Service without our written consent
• Use automated tools to create multiple accounts or circumvent free trial limitations
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account for violations of these Terms.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on AItlas — including tool descriptions, ease-of-use scores, editorial copy, design, and software — is owned by or licensed to Polsia. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from this content without our prior written consent.

Tool names, logos, and trademarks belong to their respective owners. Our inclusion of a tool in our directory does not constitute endorsement or affiliation.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. We do not warrant that:

• The Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times
• Tool information, pricing, or ease scores will be perfectly accurate or up to date
• Any specific tool will meet your needs or produce a particular outcome

AItlas provides informational content. It is not a substitute for professional advice. Any decisions you make based on information from AItlas are made at your own risk.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, POLSIA SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES — INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL — ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the total fees you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) $50 USD.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Polsia and its operators from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service in violation of these Terms.

10. Third-Party Links and Services

AItlas links to third-party websites and tools. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or availability of those external sites. Linking to a tool does not constitute endorsement.

11. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email or by posting a notice on the site. Continued use of the Service after changes constitute acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

For any disputes, we prefer to resolve matters informally. Please contact us first at aitlas@polsia.app before pursuing formal legal action. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it shall be submitted to binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.
