Short version: We collect your email if you subscribe, use analytics to improve the product, and run Meta Ads to reach new users. We don't sell your data. Ever.

2. Data We Collect
We collect the following categories of data:
- Email address — when you subscribe to our weekly newsletter or request early access. Providing your email is voluntary.
- Analytics events — page views, search queries, tool clicks, and scroll depth. These are collected anonymously to help us understand how people use AItlas and improve the product.
- Technical data — browser type, operating system, referring URL, and approximate geographic region (country/city level). This is collected automatically by our analytics infrastructure.
- Cookies — small text files stored in your browser. We use cookies for analytics, session management, and to remember your preferences (see Section 5).
- Payment data — if you subscribe to a paid plan, payment is processed by Stripe. We receive only a transaction confirmation and plan status — we never see your full card number.
3. How We Use Your Data
- Email — to send our weekly AI tool digest and product announcements. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in every email.
- Analytics — to understand which tools are popular, improve search relevance, and fix usability issues.
- Advertising — we run ads on Meta (Facebook/Instagram) to reach new users. The Meta Pixel on this site helps us measure ad performance and build audiences. This involves sharing hashed event data with Meta. See Section 6 for details.
- Payments — to manage your subscription and send receipts.
- Security & abuse prevention — to detect and block automated abuse, spam signups, and malicious traffic.
4. Legal Basis for Processing (EU/UK Users)
If you are in the European Economic Area (EEA) or United Kingdom, we process your personal data under the following legal bases:
- Consent — for email marketing and non-essential cookies (you can withdraw consent at any time).
- Legitimate interests — for product analytics, security, and fraud prevention.
- Contract performance — for managing your paid subscription.
5. Cookies
We use the following types of cookies:
- Essential cookies — required for the site to function (session management, authentication). These cannot be disabled.
- Analytics cookies — help us measure usage patterns. These are anonymised and do not identify you personally.
- Advertising cookies — set by the Meta Pixel to measure ad performance and attribution. These can be declined via the cookie banner.
You can manage cookies in your browser settings at any time. Disabling certain cookies may affect site functionality.
6. Third-Party Services
We share data with the following third-party services:
- Meta (Facebook) — the Meta Pixel is embedded on this site. When you visit AItlas, Meta receives event data (page views, button clicks) which may be linked to your Facebook account if you're logged in. Meta's privacy policy: facebook.com/privacy/policy
- Stripe — payment processing for paid subscriptions. Stripe's privacy policy: stripe.com/privacy
- Polsia Infrastructure — our hosting platform (database, CDN, server infrastructure). All data is stored on servers in the United States.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with other third parties for their own marketing purposes.
7. Data Retention
- Email subscribers — retained until you unsubscribe. We purge unsubscribed emails after 90 days.
- Analytics data — retained for 24 months, then aggregated and anonymised.
- Payment records — retained for 7 years as required by financial regulations.
- Log data — retained for 30 days for security and debugging purposes.
8. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Access — request a copy of the data we hold about you.
- Correction — request we correct inaccurate data.
- Deletion — request we delete your data ("right to be forgotten").
- Portability — request your data in a machine-readable format.
- Opt-out of marketing — unsubscribe via the link in any email, or email us.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at aitlas@polsia.app. We will respond within 30 days.
9. Children's Privacy
AItlas is not directed at children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child, please contact us immediately.
10. Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encrypted storage, HTTPS-only communication, and restricted access to production systems. No system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of AItlas after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
